Why Team Coaching?
Nowadays, coaching is everywhere – which, in my book, is both a blessing and a curse.
A blessing because, on the one hand, awareness of the need for coaching is constantly growing – especially when it comes to improving the overall collaboration between employees in a (real estate) company.
A curse, because on the other hand, people more readily get the impression that the absolute omnipresence of coaching results in greater difficulties in acknowledging the massive benefits it has to offer in our modern business world.
To be very honest: I’m not here to impress upon you that team coaching is the magic bullet you’ll need to achieve ultimate corporate success. That would be unrealistic and would have little to do with the everyday reality in the real estate companies I’ve gotten to know.
There are companies that rely on coaching – and achieve no measurable success with it.
There are companies where coaching is not an issue – because they simply don’t see the need and may be perfectly fine without it.
However: After multiple years in the field, I’ve come to understand that these tend to be exceptions to the rule.
